LITERALLY SHAI

My friends and the people who are close to me often call me “Shai”. My name literally represents who I am. Meek, reserved, timid. I’ve been shy for as long as I can remember. I feared having to talk to someone when I was little. I usually hide I side my parents room when we had visitors. I had a hard time making new friends I rarely started conversation until I turned thirteen years old, my entry to Junior High I started to feel comfortable with my classmates and started to laugh and have fun with them. Slowly I am discovering the other side of me that I can also overcome my shyness by means of having a Good friends around me. I started to realize the excitement of making new things happen. My eyes were opened to the benefits of my new attitude and I am slowly gaining my self confidence.

  1. I feel what you have experienced because I've done it as well. Our low self-esteem will always be there, what we need to do is to trust ourselves, be who we really are and always remember that we are not just nobody and its valid that we feel alone sometimes. Also we are all created equally and in the eyes of the Lord we are all de same we are not different.

The Lenten Season

For Christians, Lent is the season of reflection, fasting and aimsgiving. This season commemorates not only the passion of Jesus Christ but also the time he went to the desert to reflect and meditate for 40 days. This season exhorts Christians to follow in the footstep of Christ by helping those who are in need while resisting the temptation of the material world. One of the most  important aspect of Lenten season is the spirit of Reflection. It offers us a time to reflect on our actions if our actions were in Line with Christ. This kind of reflection allows us to gain insight on what we need to do to help us follow Christ. It opens us a chance to change ourselves for the better. Another aspect of Lent is the spirit of sacrifice. God sacrifice his own son for us. Christian believe that by  sacrificing a little aspect of our lives they can repay and share the sacrifice done by Jesus during his passion that’s why Christian do fasting. Even though Lent is a season of Refle...

My Hat Tip

Dear Mr, President              I don’t have much idea on who you are but as I watched you speak on television I've come to realized you eagerness, your passion and your love to the people and to our country. I can see in your eyes that you're tired of all the chaos we are going through right now for we are divided, those who love you so much and those who hate you so much but Mr. President please continue the good things you are doing for the sake of the Filipino people. Do the things you know it can ruin us, just to protect your people. I know that a lot of my Co-Filipino hate you so much and I can’t persuade them to look for the greater things you have done to this country but I am one of the few people who believes in you and I hope that this will be enough reason for you to keep going. We support you and we always have your back.                                  ...

A Mother's Love

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May. It complements similar celebrations, largely pushed by commercial interests, honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day. Mothers have taught us a lot, they have sacrificed for us, and they love us unconditionally. There is nothing that can compare to a mother's love. The love of a mother provides strength, comfort, healing, and warmth. They do everything they can to guide and provide a better life for their children. They say that Mother knows best; they may reprimand us, and there may be something we don't understand, but they know better, and all they do is for us. A mother's love is unlike any other. They keep us safe from injury and danger. Every year, we recog...
