"Filipinos Resilience in the Midst of Covid-19 Pandemic"

This Covid-19 bought a lot of challenges not just in our country but in the whole world. If we try to racell, it was March 2020 when the President implement an nationwide Enhance Community Quarantine just to flatten curves in the local transmission of virus. Almost all countries shutdown their economy and Philippines being belong to the third world country has been affected so much by the pandemic.

The lock down did help in controlling the transmission and spread of the virus but it doesn't mean that we won our battle againsts this pandemic. There are thousands of death including our doctors and nurses, some are still in the hospital battling for their life, some or can I say many of us loses our job due to this pandemic, Our economy was devasdated, some of our local restaurants, small business declared bankruptcy due to this pandemic and even the government admit that it can longer sustain the needs of the people if ECQ's will be prolonged. Informal settlers and our poor fellowmen also expresses their struggle specially on the scarcity of food supply in their community.

These are just a few of the challenges we are facing in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic but we Filipinos stood strong and fight through out this pandemic. We have shown our cooperation and the spirit of BAYANIHAN in our own simple way just to alleviate the situation we are facing. This pandemic has not only caused us poverty but also psychological distress especially to the most vulnerable member of our community but we Filipinos overcome it through faith and cooperation with the government and with on another. Our country has faced more thn a pandemic. We have overcome and survive wars yet we always recover and survive for we Filipinos are resilient. We stood strong no matter what.

  8. Hey Shainaly, we are of one mind that we, Filipinos, are like the eagles; in which, just like us, eagles are fearlessly flying as high as they can in the sky facing the challenges head on without running away from all of it. We can overcome any adversity through faith. And all we have to do is to help each other uplift the spirit of "bayanihan" especially that we are in the midst of crisis.

The Lenten Season

For Christians, Lent is the season of reflection, fasting and aimsgiving. This season commemorates not only the passion of Jesus Christ but also the time he went to the desert to reflect and meditate for 40 days. This season exhorts Christians to follow in the footstep of Christ by helping those who are in need while resisting the temptation of the material world. One of the most  important aspect of Lenten season is the spirit of Reflection. It offers us a time to reflect on our actions if our actions were in Line with Christ. This kind of reflection allows us to gain insight on what we need to do to help us follow Christ. It opens us a chance to change ourselves for the better. Another aspect of Lent is the spirit of sacrifice. God sacrifice his own son for us. Christian believe that by  sacrificing a little aspect of our lives they can repay and share the sacrifice done by Jesus during his passion that’s why Christian do fasting. Even though Lent is a season of Refle...

My Hat Tip

Dear Mr, President              I don’t have much idea on who you are but as I watched you speak on television I've come to realized you eagerness, your passion and your love to the people and to our country. I can see in your eyes that you're tired of all the chaos we are going through right now for we are divided, those who love you so much and those who hate you so much but Mr. President please continue the good things you are doing for the sake of the Filipino people. Do the things you know it can ruin us, just to protect your people. I know that a lot of my Co-Filipino hate you so much and I can’t persuade them to look for the greater things you have done to this country but I am one of the few people who believes in you and I hope that this will be enough reason for you to keep going. We support you and we always have your back.                                  ...

A Mother's Love

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May. It complements similar celebrations, largely pushed by commercial interests, honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day. Mothers have taught us a lot, they have sacrificed for us, and they love us unconditionally. There is nothing that can compare to a mother's love. The love of a mother provides strength, comfort, healing, and warmth. They do everything they can to guide and provide a better life for their children. They say that Mother knows best; they may reprimand us, and there may be something we don't understand, but they know better, and all they do is for us. A mother's love is unlike any other. They keep us safe from injury and danger. Every year, we recog...
