Vigan Fiesta Celebration amidst Covid-19 pandemic.

It's been 11 months when Covid-19 pandemic struck not only the Philippines but all around the world. Many lives lost including jobs, tourism and economy. As day goes by number of Covid-19 patients increases were put into lockdown. Tourism is one biggest factor why Ilocos Sur is progressive. We owned not just beautiful landmarks but also the most beautiful beaches and the most hospitable Ilokanos that's why lot of tourist kept on coming back to the province. When Covid-19 struck the country the tourism rate decrease and some establishments also declare bankruptcy due to Covid-19 crisis.

Now, the government of Ilocos Sur is doing their very best to revive the Province economy that's why Vigan Fiesta celebration push through amidst of Covid-19 pandemic. It's aim is to encourage local tourist who are nearby the city of Vigan to visit. The Vigan City Fiesta aims to revive Ilocos Sur's economy by means of local tourist who kept on patronising our products. It is also a way to introduce Ilocos products not only to them but also to the entire Philippines.

It is not that easy to launch a fiesta in the midst of this pandemic, but the government of Ilocos Sur push through with the celebration following the preventive protocols given by the National Government. They remind all the people who will visit to wear face mask and face shield and observe social distancing. One of my personal favourite during Kannawidan festival is the "Saniata ti Ylocos" but I was so happy that Saniata still push through but through libe in social media.

Amidst this pandemic we can see how the governor of Ilocos wanted the best for us not just for the economy but for the enjoyment of every Ilocosurians. We can see his effort and we should reciprocate it by means of supporting him. Let's go hand in hand in the midst of this pandemic.

  1. I agree on what you stated. We all appreciate and grateful for our Governor for all of his effort. Even in this situation, they still mananged to celebrate the fiesta even unlike before, and I think that’s enough, atleast we never forget about it.

  2. It is indeed hard to launch a fiesta in the middle of pandemic but good thing, we have the best officials in the town. I like how you tell your appreciation to the governor of Ilocos in the conclusion part. The way you share your insights in this blog of yours is quite interesting, keep it up!

The Lenten Season

For Christians, Lent is the season of reflection, fasting and aimsgiving. This season commemorates not only the passion of Jesus Christ but also the time he went to the desert to reflect and meditate for 40 days. This season exhorts Christians to follow in the footstep of Christ by helping those who are in need while resisting the temptation of the material world. One of the most  important aspect of Lenten season is the spirit of Reflection. It offers us a time to reflect on our actions if our actions were in Line with Christ. This kind of reflection allows us to gain insight on what we need to do to help us follow Christ. It opens us a chance to change ourselves for the better. Another aspect of Lent is the spirit of sacrifice. God sacrifice his own son for us. Christian believe that by  sacrificing a little aspect of our lives they can repay and share the sacrifice done by Jesus during his passion that’s why Christian do fasting. Even though Lent is a season of Refle...

My Hat Tip

Dear Mr, President              I don’t have much idea on who you are but as I watched you speak on television I've come to realized you eagerness, your passion and your love to the people and to our country. I can see in your eyes that you're tired of all the chaos we are going through right now for we are divided, those who love you so much and those who hate you so much but Mr. President please continue the good things you are doing for the sake of the Filipino people. Do the things you know it can ruin us, just to protect your people. I know that a lot of my Co-Filipino hate you so much and I can’t persuade them to look for the greater things you have done to this country but I am one of the few people who believes in you and I hope that this will be enough reason for you to keep going. We support you and we always have your back.                                  ...

A Mother's Love

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May. It complements similar celebrations, largely pushed by commercial interests, honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day. Mothers have taught us a lot, they have sacrificed for us, and they love us unconditionally. There is nothing that can compare to a mother's love. The love of a mother provides strength, comfort, healing, and warmth. They do everything they can to guide and provide a better life for their children. They say that Mother knows best; they may reprimand us, and there may be something we don't understand, but they know better, and all they do is for us. A mother's love is unlike any other. They keep us safe from injury and danger. Every year, we recog...
